Void a Ticketed PNR

Voiding a ticket refers to cancelling a ticketed order on the same day of issuance or within the airline's allowed void time limit. This process effectively cancels the transaction before funds are fully settled or as per void rules.

Key Benefits

• No Cancellation Charges: Voiding a ticket typically incurs no penalty.
• Full Refund: The full amount paid is refunded to the agency account.

Prerequisites

• The ticket must be within the void validity period (usually 24 hours or same business day, depending on the airline).
• You are logged into the Travel Workbench.

Steps to Void

1. Retrieve the Ticketed Order

1. Go to the Retrieve Orders page.
2. Search for and open the Ticketed PNR you wish to void.

2. Initiate Cancellation

From the order details page:

1. Click the Cancel Order button.
2. A confirmation dialog will appear. Click Proceed.

3. Review Void Status

The system automatically checks if the ticket is eligible for a void.

1. If eligible, the system identifies the transaction as a Void Cancellation.
2. A notification or label (e.g., "Void Cancellation") will appear, confirming the status.
3. The Refund Details section will display the full refund amount.

4. Confirm Void

1. Review the refund details to ensure the full amount is being returned.
2. Click Confirm Cancellation.
3. The order status updates locally and with the airline.

Outcome

• The order status changes to Void Cancelled (or similar).
• The refund is processed to your account.
• You can verify the status by clicking View Order.
