Cancel a Booked Order

This guide explains how to cancel a booked PNR (Passenger Name Record) that has not yet been ticketed. A booked PNR represents a reservation made without payment and ticket issuance.

Overview

Since a booked PNR is not a confirmed ticket:

  • There is no refund process involved.
  • No cancellation charges apply.
  • The booking is simply removed from the system.

Prerequisites

  • You must have an existing order with a status of Booked.
  • You are logged into the Travel Workbench.

Steps to Cancel

1. Retrieve the Order

  1. Go to the Retrieve Orders page.
  2. Search for and open the Booked order you wish to cancel.

2. Initiate Cancellation

Once you are viewing the order details:

  1. Locate and click the Cancel Order button (usually found at the top of the page).

3. Confirm Cancellation

A confirmation dialog will appear to ensure you want to proceed.

  1. The message will ask if you want to cancel all items in the order.
  2. Click Proceed to continue.
  3. Confirm the cancellation in any subsequent prompt.

Outcome

After confirming:

  • The system processes the cancellation immediately.
  • The Order Status updates to Cancelled.
  • You can review the updated status on the Order Details page.
